This smoothie really tastes like a carrot cake! The difference is that it is healthy and sweetened with natural sugars. It will not spike up your blood sugar and therefore keeps you full for hours. I make mine with frozen banana and extra spices to make it creamy and even more delicious.

Preparation time: 5 minutes
Ingredients
- 1 banana
- 1 carrot
- 1 cup ice
- ½ cup almond milk
- 1 small handful cashews
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- 1 tsp vanilla
- ½ tbsp flax seeds
- ¼ tsp nutmeg
Directions
- Place all the ingredients into a blender and whiz until smooth.
- Serve immediately or pour into a portable smoothie cup.
